EKAC’s Grant Baillie won a brilliant M45 (males 45-49) gold in the 3000m steeplechase in Gothenburg, Sweden, earlier this month, clinching victory with a dramatic sprint off the final barrier.
On his return to the club, the Senior squad presented Grant with a T-shirt bearing his winning time and a post-race picture of him draped in a flag.
As if that wasn’t enough, the following day Grant finished 5th M45 in the 5000m.
